Online-user browsing serves a different need. It gives you more context before choosing whether to begin an interaction.
Randomegle supports both paths:
- random video chat, audio or text matching;
- browsing currently available user profiles.
These experiences remain distinct so users understand whether a connection is random or selected.
What the Online User List May Show
Depending on what a user chooses to share, a profile card may include:
- profile image;
- nickname;
- online status;
- region or country;
- interest tags;
- activity or popularity indicators;
- supported interaction options;
- a link to the full profile.
The interface should not display information that the user did not intend to make visible.
An online indicator means the user is currently available according to the platform’s status logic. It is not used to create fake scarcity or misleading activity.

Online Status Does Not Equal Verification
A profile marked online means it is currently active according to the platform’s status system. It should not be interpreted as independent proof of identity, location or every profile claim.
Users should remain careful when someone:

- requests private codes;
- sends suspicious external links;
- claims an urgent emergency;
- pressures the conversation off-platform immediately.
